The Century Arms Draco Tactical is a 7.62x39mm AK-pattern pistol with a 7.5-inch barrel, a Strike Industries bi-folding pistol brace, and a US Palm M-LOK handguard. It ships with one US Palm 30-round magazine. The linear compensator provides controlled muzzle rise and recoil in the compact package.
The Draco Tactical features a RAK-1 trigger, an enhanced safety with bolt hold open, and a Picatinny rail integrated rear sight for mounting optics. The US Palm free-float M-LOK handguard provides accessory mounting for lights, lasers, and grips. The Strike Industries folding brace provides a stabilizing point of contact that folds for compact storage.
Weight is 6.9 pounds unloaded. The linear compensator directs muzzle blast forward rather than to the sides, reducing concussion for the shooter and bystanders at indoor ranges and in enclosed spaces.
The Draco Tactical accepts standard AK-pattern 7.62x39mm magazines. One 30-round US Palm magazine is included.
The 7.5-inch barrel in a pistol configuration with folding brace provides maximum compactness for transport and storage while the 7.62x39mm cartridge delivers significant energy at close to moderate distances.
The Draco Tactical suits AK enthusiasts and tactical shooters who want a compact, braced 7.62×39 pistol with modern ergonomic upgrades over the standard Draco.
Century Arms has imported and manufactured AK-pattern firearms in the United States for over 50 years. The Draco line is their compact AK pistol platform.
